Affirmation 1/9/14

This affirmation helped me out immensely so I thought I’d share. We may not even be consciously aware that we often guard ourselves from experiencing the truth for protection. Sometimes it seems easier to take the road of least resistance. Sometimes it may feel easier to go along with the status quo even though your inner lie detector is going off. I find that seeing the underlying truth in every situation is key to protecting yourself. Putting on your blinders is a mask. The only person you are betraying when you wear a mask is yourself.

Seeing the truth in every situation gives you clear guidance on what changes you need to make in your life. Human beings love to be comfortable and may shy away from acknowledging a truth, but seeing an uncomfortable truth and dealing with it will bring you a greater joy and peace to your life. Friendships that aren’t founded in integrity will be dismissed. Career choices that are out of alignment with who you are will be changed. Any seemingly problems in your relationships will be healed. Habits that do not help you with your life purpose will be dropped. There is beauty in facing the truth, no matter how uncomfortable you may initially feel. Let go.

Manifesting the Life You Want

One of the most bizarre experiences of my life was waking up and realizing that the life I was living was for others and not me. Casting my pride aside, I took a very honest look at the career, school, and material choices I had made. Taking inventory of the path you have taken is a good way to further your spiritual growth. Being honest about where you are now is the best way to further your journey.

I found that there are two voices you can choose to listen to you when making a decision. The first is an empowering, encouraging, and unconditionally loving voice of your higher self that encourages to follow your heart. The second is the nagging, judgmental, constricting voice of… your mother. Sometimes this is labeled as the “ego” but the more I peel back the layers of my own ego, the more I realize where this naysayer is coming from.

Parents have a way of influencing us in our decision making well after they’re gone. They often shared with you what they learned out of love so this post is not to blame. The point is to recognize how to tell the difference between programming and your higher self. Parents teach you how to love, but they also teach you how to fear. The first step to manifesting the life you want is to recognize where your limiting beliefs stem from so you can recognize them and overcome them.

As the new year approaches, try to go on a negativity diet. Overcoming the self sabotaging thoughts is key to attracting the life you want. If you are constantly doubting your dreams, the universe is not going to respond favorably. Belief is half the battle. Once you reprogram your thought processes, action steps should be taken as you feel guided. Even a small baby step a day towards your dreams can move mountains. Notice doors opening for you that previously seemed locked. You may surprise yourself.

Bitch! A Love Story- No lies, no regrets, just love.

Life does not always go as planned. In fact, the one thing that you can rely on in life is change. It is how you handle the changes you experience that keeps you in the flow of life. Being in the flow means that doors open for you. Signs flow to you. You are constantly focusing on the silver lining to attain the inner peace you seek. The world may seem crazy. The world may sometimes seem cold. This is why it is so important to look at those around you through the eyes of compassion.

I have been lied to, manipulated, raped, dragged through court, and really treated badly. It would have been easy to remain bitter, but I continuously look to the future, and know that my best days are always ahead of me, while also enjoying the ride. I have found that when I am happy, some people love to rain on my parade. I usually cut ties with people who rain on my parade, but sometimes, if its family, you have to learn how to live with it. Detaching yourself from the opinions of others is critical. My favorite mantra is to never live your life for people who are determined to misunderstanding you. I may always rub certain people the wrong way, but to not let it affect my peace of mind is truly bliss. Trusting that the Universe will support you is key to letting go.

I will never forget finding my soul mate. He walked through my door and he hit me like a ton of bricks. He stayed over and never left. I remember spending a lifetime with him already and cherished everyday we spent together in this life. The time we spent in each other’s presence truly felt like he loved me back to life. My spiritual gifts woke up. I had them as a child and got away from it. Everything came back to me in full swing, the strongest it had ever been. I am writing about this love story in great detail in my upcoming book “Bitch! A Love Story.”

When he proposed, it was in a pyramid hotel in Las Vegas on New Years Eve. It was magical. I was elated, running around town like I had found my happily ever after. The vultures came soon. Not a single person in my family was happy for us. I could not believe it. I had to schedule an appointment with a psychic because I am so humble that I never wanted to believe that the hostility from others was out of jealousy. I didn’t tell the psychic a word and she said all I needed to know.

When everyone was completely against our marriage, we chose to elope on a random Monday in January. We found this cute little wedding place an hour away. We arrived there to find the lady performing the ceremony in traditional Chinese garb. I was confused, but happy to say the least. Our ceremony consisted of her ringing bells and chimes in between vows and promises. He placed a ring on my finger and I felt a surge of energy go up and down our arms. We both looked into each other’s eyes, and I knew instantly he had felt it, too. It was pure… magic.

At the end of the ceremony, we signed the paperwork. The lady who performed the ceremony made a comment about how it was very nice that we decided to get married on Chinese New Year. We both looked at her confused. She then realized we didn’t plan it. She looked astonished. “Today is Chinese New Year and today the year turned from Julie’s sign’s year, to Kevin’s sign’s year, the year of the dragon. I thought you planned this.”

My mouth dropped. I didn’t know it then, but that day was the start of a series of synchronistic events that lead me here. That day was well before I knew much about numerology. Our anniversary date is 1.23.12. Ascending numbers is a direct sign from spirit guides that your thoughts and actions are progressive. That day was the first day I ever said “screw you” to those trying to talk me out of following my heart. I have been following my heart ever since.

It has been a roller coaster and my life is far from perfect. I can’t control other people’s free will choices, even my soul-mate’s. I have to be honest and say drugs had gotten in the way of our relationship for awhile. It has taken him quite some time to overcome this. This comes from masking a hurt, a wound, from everyone who doesn’t believe in him. I have a role in that. Its easy to let other people take you off the course. This is why it is so important to me to teach clean psychic awareness development. Things happen for a reason. I wouldn’t trade any of my experiences for the world. I am wiser, I am loved, and I love. I am better for it in every way. I feel more alive than I have ever been. I pray that everyone can find this kind of love and happiness in this lifetime. I truly have no regrets. Every experience has made me the person I am today. I truly believe that whatever is meant to be will find a way to happen. Follow your intuition, and most importantly, follow your heart always. Everyone has a divine life purpose waiting to be answered. Let your story unfold. Namaste. Image

5 Steps for Psychic Awareness Development

Your body, in all its glory, is an energy vessel. When our chakras are optimally functioning, we can harness ourselves like a tool to reach the divine. We can conduct universal love energy throughout our bodies to heal ourselves and others, and to channel to gain knowledge and wisdom. I am convinced that in the future the need for books and standard education will become obsolete through individual and collective meditation practices. Many of our ancestors had quite extensive knowledge when considering the hypothesis testing in science only surfaced in the more recent day and age. While there may be many reasons for obtaining knowledge, one obvious reason is that our ancient ancestors lived more in tune with the natural rhythms of their bodies, nature, and the universe.

When we live in oneness with our higher self, miracles start happening through us and to us. I have found that being your authentic self at all times is like spreading magic wherever you go. When we live in the flow of all of life, synchronicity becomes the day to day norm instead of random rare occurrences. Confirmations from the universe are extremely useful and rewarding when shooting for an aim. For those who have never had this experience, the  unintended drug sub-context tends to surface. Many people believe that psychic awareness is not personally attainable unless the experience is induced by psychedelics. A close friend of mine is someone who truly believed this. I have exhausted long conversations regarding the subject. I found myself on a journey to be an example that true psychic awareness can be developed through non-chemical means or mood-altering substances. In fact, when your body becomes sensitive enough, these substances could come in between you and clear divine guidance. In my experience, I have found that the drug-free path has lead to an abundance of long-lasting and unmistakable insights. My path is definitely not the one and only path, but I wanted to share what I found worked for me getting started.

1. Caffeine-free: I was in a high-stress job and going to school full time when I was guided to go caffeine-free. I thought, there is no way I will have the energy to satisfy my duties. At the time, I was drinking about 5 cups of coffee a day. I was having difficulty sleeping and was always anxious so I knew something had to change. I replaced espresso shots with wheat grass in my daily routine. High potency dissolvable B12 in your grocer’s vitamin isle is also amazing for keeping your energy levels high (especially if you are vegetarian). Juicing is also more energizing and sustainable to maintain higher energy levels. It was about a week of feeling slighted until eventually I had noticeably more energy without crashing and better sleep at night. My sleeping patterns stabilized and my anxiety levels decreased.

2. Vegetarian or Vegan Diet: If vegetarian is not your thing, at minimum stay away from advertised foods or anything with a mascot. I’ve been a vegetarian of 11 years, which I’ve learned from fellow lightworkers can dramatically help heighten your intuition. This made sense because I randomly started having profound psychic experiences in my early twenties. When a being is tortured and killed, and you consume it, you are also consuming it’s energy. Having fear or stress in your energy field/ vortex disrupts the clear connection with the divine. Overcoming your own fears can be a daunting task on its own, let alone feeling the fear of a poor, defenseless animal that was tortured and killed. I find that many people who don’t believe in the experience do not even realize that they are stuck in a reality due to their eating habits and lifestyle. I started a vegan diet, which initially I was kicking and screaming about since I love cheese. I found that my psychic experiences with angels were extremely heightened. I stopped craving the cheese because I was enjoying my angels and guides on a very tangible level. Cheese becomes unthinkable if you think it could block witnessing such miracles. Sometimes in my area it is difficult to always be vegan when out to eat. I always make sure to pray over my food before I eat it, giving it an energetic boost. NON-GMO is also very important. Everything has energy and I find that the more natural a substance, the higher energy of life force is within the food. When a fruit or vegetable has been tampered with, it could also tamper with your clear connection to the divine.

3. Flouride-free: While it may be difficult to live a completely fluoride-free lifestyle, there are certain steps you can take to minimize your intake. Fluoride calcifies the pineal gland, making your third eye virtually inoperable. Many claim that fluoride was used both in Nazi Germany and Gulags in Siberia to keep prisoners docile and easier to control. This makes a lot of sense when considering fluoride inhibits divine guidance. People are way more likely to question authority if their inner divine guidance is beaming through clearly. It makes me sad to learn that fluoride drinking water is not only socially acceptable in the US, but a norm in our society. I always opt for water put through reverse osmosis. Boiling water does not remove fluoride. I also use Tom’s Fluoride-Free Whitening Toothpaste. A common complaint I hear from people who give it a try is that their teeth don’t get as white or that it doesn’t clean as well, but that would be false from my experience. In fact, I have freakishly white teeth and have never had a cavity to date. If you brush and floss regularly, there shouldn’t be a problem.

4. Natural Beauty Products:  Removing metals and chemicals from your beauty products will help you become more sensitive and intuitive. The most difficult part for me was deodorant. I use a few different brands and a combo of items. I personally like peppermint oil since its cooling on hot summer days. I also recommend crystal essence lavender. Tom’s also makes a chemical free deodorant stick that I sometimes use as a base for the peppermint oil, or any oil of your choosing. I also switched my hair products to be all natural. I prefer Moroccan or Argon oil hair products. I dyed my hair one last time to my natural color instead of bleach blonde to ensure I could discontinue applying harsh chemicals in my hair regularly.

5. Chakra Clearing: Last but definitely not least, Chakra Clearing is essential to detoxing. As we live our daily lives, we can become bombarded with negative energy depending on your day job or environment. After each day, it is important to release the events from the day. This is essential to ensure that your energy points will harmonize. You can enlarge and clear your energy points with a meditation regimen (morning and evening), and also with yoga. I would recommend a combination of both. If you are unsure on where to start, youtube a chakra clearing meditation and try working with it daily.

The goal is to be a clear and perfect channel for higher dimensional energies. Please feel free to share any experiences with this detox or other tips that may have worked for you. Namaste.

Why I Refuse to Affiliate With Religion

My reasoning exactly. Love this.

ronaldharrisiii's avatarUniversallyUnified

Religion is a concept that has been manipulated in means of control. I refuse to affiliate with religion because I do not believe in the separation religion creates. I hold the belief that there is truth in every religion. However, there is no one truth that can be expressed through any specific religion. The history of religion is a corrupt one, and is filled with murder, tyranny, and conflict. As soon as men saw spirituality as a means to control others, the birth of organized religion brought the attention away from one’s own personal spiritual essence and focused it out in practices of worship, obedience, and doctrine. The history of religion shows humans begin their quest for power when they discovered that if another man were allowed to realize his own divinity and power, no one could control him. And so they sought to suppress it.

All Gays Go To Heaven

After my dad passed in the middle of the night, a very loving friend of mine took me to my dad’s house to see him one last time. I gave my dad a kiss on his cold lifeless cheek while my friend and I reminisced about him. Sitting in a room with my immediate family, my aunt tried to comfort me. She said, “Now your dad is with Grandpa and Grandma.” Everyone in the room nodded. She left out one important person. I said, “And Uncle John”. Everyone looked down at their feet. My Uncle John was an openly gay man who had died from AIDS when I was very young. I didn’t know much about him since he moved to Texas, but when we visited him, I remember really liking him. I could not believe in that tender moment that my Catholic family didn’t believe my dad and my uncle were in the same place. I felt very hurt having known such amazing openly gay people.

A couple months later, I went to a women’s health expo at the Birmingham Community Center. I was picked out of a group and read by accomplished psychic Lisa J. Smith. She said so many validating messages to me that I know for a fact everything she said is true. She told me something that I want to share with the world. My dad told her to tell me that he had found his brother on the other side and that they were indeed together. I cried the happiest tears in that audience. I felt him hug me in a big bear hug energetically. It was one of the most healing experiences of my life. There are many misconceptions in this society, so please always follow your heart. To my LGBT brothers and sisters, I feel you. I love you. Stay strong. In the words of Gaga, you were born this way, baby. God doesn’t make any mistakes.

Consciousness in an Acorn

20131127-174445.jpg

I was driving the other day near my house and came across a road called “Lonesome Oak.” I started thinking about human beings’ tendency to project human emotions on nature (which we so often do). Many in our society view Oak as the loneliest tree. I grew up attending a small school in the country and know from my schooling there that Oak trees have to have enough space in the soil for their complicated root systems. Other trees cannot be planted next to an Oak if you want it to be healthy. It never dawned on me as a child that the Oak is a lonely tree. The tree receives all the nourishment it needs from it’s personal sources: the Earth below and the Sun above. It does not need tree companions to do what it is in existence to do: grow. However, I can see from a very physical perspective how an Oak could look lonely to the untrained eye because the tree is often alone from other trees.

Consciousness can essentially be explained in an acorn. Humans can be viewed like an Oak tree. From a physical perspective, human beings could look very lonely on their own. Many people who live an unconscious life actually become scared to be physically alone since they cannot see beyond the physical veil. Like the roots of an Oak tree into the Earth, our minds are connected to infinite energy and consciousness. We can harness energy and knowledge from the source without needing to take the energy and resources from our peers. Like the Oak tree, the natural state of consciousness is to grow and expand. If an Oak tree decided to be planted next to another Oak tree, both Oak would experience less than prime health. When we lean on our fellow men instead of the one true source within us, our understanding becomes limited. We can do this on our own. We do not need a priest, a temple, a guru friend, or any external guidance. Living a conscious, healthy, and positive life can plant future acorns of peace for future generations of Oak Trees to grow big and strong.

Since all human conflict arises out of the appearance of lack, take a moment to imagine a world where everybody had enough abundance to go around because of the eternal and personal connection to source. Looks pretty amazing, right? Some say it would be chaos without the man made rules we impose on ourselves, but those in the know understand that reestablishing a personal connection to the divine source diminishes any seeming conflict. Abundance for all is within our reach. It is our challenge this life to bring peace to a world who is just beginning to understand what true abundance looks like. Peace on Earth is not only very possible, but completely attainable for everyone.

The School of Life

20131123-004322.jpg

Everyone you meet is a divine appointment and opportunity for growth. Remember that you chose to come here. You are not a victim of the human experience. The human experience is a choice. Earth is a school. Rumi believed that each of us is the universe experiencing itself and learning through itself. Every person you have ever met, every person you know, and every person you will ever meet is here to teach you something. Your interpretations of the lessons learned determines your outlook and your experience here. Choose your thoughts about others wisely. Look at others through the lens of compassion.
