Bitch! A Love Story- No lies, no regrets, just love.

Life does not always go as planned. In fact, the one thing that you can rely on in life is change. It is how you handle the changes you experience that keeps you in the flow of life. Being in the flow means that doors open for you. Signs flow to you. You are constantly focusing on the silver lining to attain the inner peace you seek. The world may seem crazy. The world may sometimes seem cold. This is why it is so important to look at those around you through the eyes of compassion.

I have been lied to, manipulated, raped, dragged through court, and really treated badly. It would have been easy to remain bitter, but I continuously look to the future, and know that my best days are always ahead of me, while also enjoying the ride. I have found that when I am happy, some people love to rain on my parade. I usually cut ties with people who rain on my parade, but sometimes, if its family, you have to learn how to live with it. Detaching yourself from the opinions of others is critical. My favorite mantra is to never live your life for people who are determined to misunderstanding you. I may always rub certain people the wrong way, but to not let it affect my peace of mind is truly bliss. Trusting that the Universe will support you is key to letting go.

I will never forget finding my soul mate. He walked through my door and he hit me like a ton of bricks. He stayed over and never left. I remember spending a lifetime with him already and cherished everyday we spent together in this life. The time we spent in each other’s presence truly felt like he loved me back to life. My spiritual gifts woke up. I had them as a child and got away from it. Everything came back to me in full swing, the strongest it had ever been. I am writing about this love story in great detail in my upcoming book “Bitch! A Love Story.”

When he proposed, it was in a pyramid hotel in Las Vegas on New Years Eve. It was magical. I was elated, running around town like I had found my happily ever after. The vultures came soon. Not a single person in my family was happy for us. I could not believe it. I had to schedule an appointment with a psychic because I am so humble that I never wanted to believe that the hostility from others was out of jealousy. I didn’t tell the psychic a word and she said all I needed to know.

When everyone was completely against our marriage, we chose to elope on a random Monday in January. We found this cute little wedding place an hour away. We arrived there to find the lady performing the ceremony in traditional Chinese garb. I was confused, but happy to say the least. Our ceremony consisted of her ringing bells and chimes in between vows and promises. He placed a ring on my finger and I felt a surge of energy go up and down our arms. We both looked into each other’s eyes, and I knew instantly he had felt it, too. It was pure… magic.

At the end of the ceremony, we signed the paperwork. The lady who performed the ceremony made a comment about how it was very nice that we decided to get married on Chinese New Year. We both looked at her confused. She then realized we didn’t plan it. She looked astonished. “Today is Chinese New Year and today the year turned from Julie’s sign’s year, to Kevin’s sign’s year, the year of the dragon. I thought you planned this.”

My mouth dropped. I didn’t know it then, but that day was the start of a series of synchronistic events that lead me here. That day was well before I knew much about numerology. Our anniversary date is 1.23.12. Ascending numbers is a direct sign from spirit guides that your thoughts and actions are progressive. That day was the first day I ever said “screw you” to those trying to talk me out of following my heart. I have been following my heart ever since.

It has been a roller coaster and my life is far from perfect. I can’t control other people’s free will choices, even my soul-mate’s. I have to be honest and say drugs had gotten in the way of our relationship for awhile. It has taken him quite some time to overcome this. This comes from masking a hurt, a wound, from everyone who doesn’t believe in him. I have a role in that. Its easy to let other people take you off the course. This is why it is so important to me to teach clean psychic awareness development. Things happen for a reason. I wouldn’t trade any of my experiences for the world. I am wiser, I am loved, and I love. I am better for it in every way. I feel more alive than I have ever been. I pray that everyone can find this kind of love and happiness in this lifetime. I truly have no regrets. Every experience has made me the person I am today. I truly believe that whatever is meant to be will find a way to happen. Follow your intuition, and most importantly, follow your heart always. Everyone has a divine life purpose waiting to be answered. Let your story unfold. Namaste. Image

All Gays Go To Heaven

After my dad passed in the middle of the night, a very loving friend of mine took me to my dad’s house to see him one last time. I gave my dad a kiss on his cold lifeless cheek while my friend and I reminisced about him. Sitting in a room with my immediate family, my aunt tried to comfort me. She said, “Now your dad is with Grandpa and Grandma.” Everyone in the room nodded. She left out one important person. I said, “And Uncle John”. Everyone looked down at their feet. My Uncle John was an openly gay man who had died from AIDS when I was very young. I didn’t know much about him since he moved to Texas, but when we visited him, I remember really liking him. I could not believe in that tender moment that my Catholic family didn’t believe my dad and my uncle were in the same place. I felt very hurt having known such amazing openly gay people.

A couple months later, I went to a women’s health expo at the Birmingham Community Center. I was picked out of a group and read by accomplished psychic Lisa J. Smith. She said so many validating messages to me that I know for a fact everything she said is true. She told me something that I want to share with the world. My dad told her to tell me that he had found his brother on the other side and that they were indeed together. I cried the happiest tears in that audience. I felt him hug me in a big bear hug energetically. It was one of the most healing experiences of my life. There are many misconceptions in this society, so please always follow your heart. To my LGBT brothers and sisters, I feel you. I love you. Stay strong. In the words of Gaga, you were born this way, baby. God doesn’t make any mistakes.

Myth Buster: Unrequited Love

Unrequited love does not exist in our universe. Consider the text book definition. The dictionary defines unrequited as “not reciprocated or returned in kind.” I am already hearing the cries, “But Johnny didn’t love me!” or “I was never good enough for him!” or better yet, “She never even noticed me.” I still stand by my statement that unrequited love is a myth in this universe.

Why a myth, you ask? Love is a form of energy, and energy in our universe is never really lost. As a society, we have gotten so caught up in the physicality of “boy meets girl- falls in love” that we lose the sense of what love really is. Consider that everything in the universe is connected with energy. Consciousness in essence is where your thoughts dwell. While some may stay locked in the cause and effect, linear mentality, others transcend that limiting belief. Some say that the smallest shift in consciousness can ripple throughout time and space. One physical moment of deep love can leave it’s ripple effect throughout your entire life unbeknownst to you for most of your physical life.

Love is the highest vibrational emotion you can emit. In the material world, if you find yourself getting caught up loving someone who does not seem to physically reciprocate your feelings, remember that the energy you are emitting is never wasted and should not discourage you from being a vessel of love. Many people will harden their hearts to keep the hurt out, but in truth you are only hurting the self from cutting it off from the universe. Be as soft as you were before the seemingly unpleasant experience. The universe always matches your vibrational frequency. If you find yourself sending love to someone and physically, they do not do the same, do not let it bring you down. Stay in love. Be open to receiving it back from the universe in other ways– even though it is not what you originally expected. The universe can shower back your love in many different ways: more leisure, abundance, golden opportunities, or new loving people in your life. The possibilities are endless. The truth is we do live in a very loving universe. Unrequited love was invented by man’s meek understanding of the notion of love from a very physical perspective. Love is always returned to you, no matter how different the outward appearance may initially seem.

Making Decisions from a Place of Awareness

20131006-211844.jpg
When you find yourself making tough decisions, look inward. What are your insides telling you? Tapping into your intuition will help you make a decision from a place of awareness instead of fear. As a living being, you are wired to be a perfect vessel for energy. Nikola Tesla says it best: “If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration.” Everyone has an inner truth detector when tapping into the energy of others. I think of it like sensing chord and key changes in music. When you hear a music chord progression go from playing a major chord to a minor chord, your whole body can feel that change. When you really tune into what someone is saying, and they lie, your body feels the energy of the lie in the same way you would a change in key. Something feels wrong, or out of perfect harmony.

Many people repeat untruths while not being consciously aware they are lying. There are a many misconceptions that are repeated as fact within society. When confronted with decisions in life, it is best to keep a bird’s eye view. By this, I mean to look at your life and your overall purpose from a broader perspective. By tuning into your inner guidance, you can feel which step is the best next step to take. Does this bring me closer to my life’s purpose or away from it? Which action brings you more peace? Your inner truth detector will help you navigate through the untruths.

If you find that you are having difficulty in feeling your inner guidance, I would suggest clearing the chakras through meditation. A guided meditation for chakra clearing would be a good place to start. I personally like Doreen Virtue’s “Chakra Clearing” meditation CD. You will notice that as time goes on, and you are clearing your chakras regularly, your intuition will become much more clear. As you rediscover yourself and your intuition, your path will become illuminated. You may never know exactly where your life is going, but your guidance will help you know which next step to take. Do not stand still based in fear. Charge forward fearlessly. Open up to endless possibilities. Once you make a clear decision, the Universe will answer and bring you everything you need along the way. Have faith, be fearless, be light.
