Surrender Your Ego: Get Out of Your Own Way!

It seems so simple to say get out of your own way, but its a point so many people on this planet miss. Are you your own worst critic? Are you fearful of making a bad choice? Are you scared to fail? Do you turn down opportunities after talking yourself out of it? Do you talk yourself out of trying something new? Do you convince yourself that mediocrity is okay? If you answered yes to any of these questions, this message is for you.

I meet so many who block their own abundance in their lives. Worry and doubts can attract the very miserable experiences you are trying to avoid. I have been guilty of it myself so I am speaking from a place of love so that the next person can avoid it. I don’t know about you, but at the end of the day I don’t want to say I simply “got through” my life. I want to enjoy all that life has to offer. The best way to do this is to become a “Yes Man” to God, the Angels, and the Universe with every good thing that presents itself to you.

God wants to shower us with infinite abundance. It took me a long time to realize that it takes a great deal of energy to be broke and manifest misery. If you constantly talk yourself out of opportunities, people, and new things, you may totally be missing your boat to abundance. If you control others trying to help you out of fear and turn them down, you are blocking the help coming your way. The good news is that there are an infinite number of opportunities available. It is never too late to start to notice the chance meetings, good information, or people coming your way.

I strongly believe God works through us and reaches down to us through others. It’s time to get out of your own way and enjoy everything the Universe has to offer. No more excuses. Know in your heart that abundance is here for you, and take the action steps you are guided to take. If your path isn’t clear, meditate. Ask for a sign. Do something. Anything is better than staying passive. I promise you that the Universe will answer. It’s time to let go, surrender the fears from your ego, and start living the promises today.

Living the Law of Attraction

Albert Einstein posed a question meant for us to question the very nature of our existence. “Is the Universe a friendly place?” Based on what we know about quantum physics and the law of attraction, I believe we can answer yes, the universe is a friendly place. As someone who has manifested both miracles and problems into her life, I can say without a shred of doubt that the universe is willing to bring you anything you wish. Even though I have manifested horrible things, I have also manifested seemingly impossible good fortune.

Whatever your focus is on becomes manifested into material form. Belief makes the unbelievable tangible. Want to see an angel? After continuously focusing on my belief in a spiritual experience, I finally experienced many amazing things. Worried about a car being repossessed? Worries can block all abundance to help pay for that car, so the universe helped there as well…. Like earning thousands the day after it’s repossession. A little too ironic, right? Focused on abundance and a huge bank account? I’ve been there too and used my riches to share with my family, friends, and causes I cared about. Worried about a bad grade? The focus will make you late or miss class due to unforeseen circumstances no matter how hard you studied. Want to talk to that spiritual guru you’ve been listening to on the radio? No problem. The universe brought a phone call to me through mutual friends. Want that reading by that medium so in demand she has a 4 year waiting list and charges a ridiculous fee? No problem. Belief you will speak can bring you to that right time right place moment, free of any charge, I may add. Want a paid writing opportunity? A stay-at-home business? Belief will make these things come to you almost effortlessly.

After seeing these patterns in my own life, I can without a doubt say the universe is a friendly place. One spiritual teacher I admire explains that the universe is like an over-eager genie granting your wish before you even say “I wish for”. The universe is granting them by responding to your thoughts. Your thoughts literally manifest everything in your life. Not everyone likes to hear this because it requires taking responsibility for the good and the bad, but it is 100% true.

Thank goodness all manifestations take time and consistent focus and action steps. Emotions can give us clues about whether our thoughts are focused on our highest good or not. Bad feelings about the worries you have will give you previews, like a loving warning before it manifests into form. The other realization that helped is to realize positive loving thoughts are way more powerful than negative ones. However, consistent worry will attract the very things you don’t want.

Realizing this freeing concept that the universe really does want us to have what we need has invited career opportunities, friendships, love, and abundance that I always wanted. Einstein’s intent to leave us exploring this question has given us a whole new understanding of consciousness. Reality can be whatever you would like it to be. Life really can be a dream. There is always a way… even though our feeble human minds cannot see an answer, the divine can. Let the universe do the heavy lifting.

Heroes and Villains

I’ve been meeting a lot of new people lately, and in my encounters I am actually shocked how many people vilify other people. Gossip is something I am definitely not a fan of. I find it a waste of time. I find that others find it entertaining. However, most gossip is an exaggerated lie of the truth. Lies can be entertaining to those who don’t live in integrity. Bonding with others over a lie is a hollow friendship, yet I see it everyday.

I feel many people put others on pedestals, and sometimes even themselves. This is also a lie. No matter your accomplishments, popularity, or privileges, everyone on this Earth is just as worthy. Everyone is a divine being in spiritual truth. Once you pass on and shed the physical, you become part of the spiritual. Knowing this, everyone is one in the same in spiritual truth. Once you come to this realization, talking badly of others or idolizing others becomes time wasted. It isn’t necessary when at the end of the day you realize you are only talking about yourself in spiritual truth. We are all one. 💕

Coming Out of the Spiritual Closet

It sounds like such a simple concept: be you. However, I find that many of us do not even realize the masks we wear until we begin to dismantle what we know to be true. What do I mean by dismantling? This happens on the spiritual path as we begin to question everything we have been told and why we are the way we are. The process of questioning reality and what makes you you can actually be a painful process. However, a dark night of the soul can bring you amazing insights into what reality is and who we are as spiritual beings.

Dismantling myself, I found myself at odds with my actions initially. I felt who I am at my core was not being projected into my career path and relationships at the time. Taking a step back, I found myself people pleasing all of my life. Being a people pleaser can be a very dangerous thing. In the end, you can lose yourself entirely. People pleasing will bring you fake friends, a lackluster career, and easily manipulated decision making. This is something that is easily forgivable and remedied by stepping into your power, and making the decision to be assertive in your actions from this moment on. If you don’t stick up for yourself, no one else will.

In our society it is so easy to be caught up in media and relationships that we are practically spoon fed what music we like, what kind of clothes we wear, and what kind of food we eat by conforming to a standard society has set. If you disagree, take a step back and ask yourself, how did I come to this decision? How was the concept introduced into my life? Do I do this because I want to, or because its what is expected of me?

Going against the grain can seem frightening. Sometimes the conflict phobic spiritual person would rather put on a smile to keep everyone else happy and laughing versus questioning what someone else is saying. In sales, we are taught to “mirror” clients, matching their personality, tone, and speaking style. In many cases, I find we mirror each other in public. I find it dishonest and two faced. Furthermore, the minute you decide someone else’s ego projection is more important than being the real you is the minute you’ve given up your personal power. What is so important about fitting in with someone? Society is nothing to be scared of. Society is nothing but a multitude of individuals. Individuality is something to be celebrated, not feared. One individual can positively influence the whole.

I know many people who read my blog and watch my youtube channel, but are scared to publicly like it. They private message me compliments and share similar, closeted stories. I also know people who tell me they believe in telepathy, but would rather keep it a secret, scared of being scorned by the public. There was also a point in my life where I, without a shred of doubt, had a past life experience, and was too scared to publicly admit it because it went against everything I was taught in Catholicism. Here’s a little secret. Not everyone is going to like you no matter what you do. Wouldn’t you rather be loved and accepted for who you are rather than a facade in order to fit in?

Dita Von Teese said it so eloquently when she said, “You can be the ripest, juiciest peach in the world, and there will still be someone who doesn’t like peaches.” And so what? If your goal is to get everyone to like you, you are fighting a battle that can’t be won. Realizing this, I have decided to put my truth out there and my beliefs, regardless of the outcome. Sure, some people don’t like it. My IQ has been insulted (even though I tested gifted). My experiences have been belittled (mostly by people who are too blinded to accept anything outside of their belief system). I’ve also lost some friends. But here is the silver lining. No matter what anyone says, amazing opportunities have presented themselves to me. I’ve gained more friends that can identify and live by the message I bring. I have found that many people have shared my experiences. In essence, I have found my tribe. I encourage you and invite you to step into who you really are 100% of the time. Changes will undoubtedly follow, but there will be improvements. Being who you really are will bring you into the direction of your life’s purpose. Only you can be you. Creator made you for a reason. Choose to fulfill that reason today. You always have the free will choice to ignore your purpose, but finding your purpose is so rewarding. No one else can fulfill this but you. “Today you are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than You.” ― Dr. Seuss

Making Decisions from a Place of Awareness

20131006-211844.jpg
When you find yourself making tough decisions, look inward. What are your insides telling you? Tapping into your intuition will help you make a decision from a place of awareness instead of fear. As a living being, you are wired to be a perfect vessel for energy. Nikola Tesla says it best: “If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration.” Everyone has an inner truth detector when tapping into the energy of others. I think of it like sensing chord and key changes in music. When you hear a music chord progression go from playing a major chord to a minor chord, your whole body can feel that change. When you really tune into what someone is saying, and they lie, your body feels the energy of the lie in the same way you would a change in key. Something feels wrong, or out of perfect harmony.

Many people repeat untruths while not being consciously aware they are lying. There are a many misconceptions that are repeated as fact within society. When confronted with decisions in life, it is best to keep a bird’s eye view. By this, I mean to look at your life and your overall purpose from a broader perspective. By tuning into your inner guidance, you can feel which step is the best next step to take. Does this bring me closer to my life’s purpose or away from it? Which action brings you more peace? Your inner truth detector will help you navigate through the untruths.

If you find that you are having difficulty in feeling your inner guidance, I would suggest clearing the chakras through meditation. A guided meditation for chakra clearing would be a good place to start. I personally like Doreen Virtue’s “Chakra Clearing” meditation CD. You will notice that as time goes on, and you are clearing your chakras regularly, your intuition will become much more clear. As you rediscover yourself and your intuition, your path will become illuminated. You may never know exactly where your life is going, but your guidance will help you know which next step to take. Do not stand still based in fear. Charge forward fearlessly. Open up to endless possibilities. Once you make a clear decision, the Universe will answer and bring you everything you need along the way. Have faith, be fearless, be light.
